DAMM can be explained simply as a group of local Mini enthusiasts with a little bit deeper connection with our cars than most people. OK… we’re somewhat obsessed with our cars! We love to get together with others who feel the same way about Minis - both “new Minis” and “old Minis” - the spirit is the same, we don’t discriminate! DAMM is a regional offshoot of Sunshine Minis, a very casual “club” that covers the entire state of Florida.

SSM is the online home and forums of Sunshine MINIs, the largest and most active state-wide Florida MINI and Mini owners club. There’s no structure, no dues, no membership cards or secret handshakes… it’s about as casual as a car club could possibly be. We communicate through the forums, and for just being a bunch of Mini-crazed individuals scattered across the state, we pull together and have some pretty well organized get-togethers. The regional clubs (like DAMM, which is in it’s infancy) are the heart of the club. It’s through the local groups that all the fun stuff gets planned, and everyone is always invited regardless of where you live.

A lot of support is provided by Mini dealerships as well as a few small businesses that specialize in Mini parts, accessories, and service. Being active in SSM will provide you with more knowledge and resources to feed the Mini addiction than you ever knew was possible!

DAMM is the local group for anyone living (or even visiting) near Daytona Beach who would like to meet other “Miniacs” and share the experience that can only come from a car like this. We’re a very small group at this point… but there are quite a few Minis in the area, and surely a few of them are driven by “Miniacs” who didn’t even know that there is a group like this around.
