HELP! I spent the past couple of days at DIS for the Rennsport Reunion Porsche event. Getting on I95 South bound to get home to Ft Lauderdale yesterday, my 03 Cooper S popped the serpintine belt. I limped the car to a friends house at the foot of the Port Orange bridge. Who in the area can preform the service in the area. I am headed back to Daytona on Wednesday for the HSR races at DIS. Some good advice and service could warrant some tickets for the races this coming weekend at the track. Thanks, Historic Sportscar Racing , Compeitition Director.

OUCH!
We don't have a shop here in Daytona (yet) that's been "certified" as the place to go for Mini work. Unfortunately the closest independent Mini mechanic that any of us have been using is in Orlando... E&L Automotive. Eddie might be able to come to you, give him a call and see.

Thanks guys. I am headed back to Daytona with a borrowed tensioner tool from my friend Rene' at Red Line Automotive in Ft Lauderdale and a belt from Pete at Minspeed. Going to put it on myself. Thanks for the response. If anyone goes out to the track this weekend for the Historic races, stop by to say hello. Any HSR official with a radio can find my.

Sorry I missed your post on Sunday or I might have been able to get you in touch with Eddie sooner. I didn't realize there was an HSR event in town this weekend... I need to keep on top of things happening at the track!
